Without the first conservationists blockading the Daintree from tree clearing the Wet Tropics would not have been listed as World Heritage and protected in perpetuity for future generations.

How to become a Wet Tropics Guardian

• Become a member and receive our quarterly newsletters or join in our lively zoom discussions and listen to guest speakers.
• Become a sponsor to support our land protection programs and community information sharing events and gatherings.
• Become involved in any of our events, programs, projects, or campaigns there is much that needs to be done we aim to create a fun, educational, productive, and safe space for all members of the community.

In doing so you are sure to meet like-minded people in your local community, and make new friends, and connect with people that share the same values, who care about our precious environment and want to do what they can to help. We particularly welcome new residents to the area.
